ITINERARY 08:00 hrs Meet your English-speaking guide in the hotel's lobby. Leave Chiang Mai along the mountainous highway to Lampang. Arrive at Thai Elephant Conservation Center; enjoy watching the elephant bathing and logging demonstration. Then experience exciting Elephant ride into the teak forest for one hour passing the Elephant Cemetery and mahout training school. Lunch will be served. Afternoon visit to the Elephant Hospital, learn how we treat the elephants and see the injured and sick elephants. Continue to visit the Elephant Dung Paper Factory and learn how to make elephant dung paper. On the return to Chiang Mai stops are made at the Local market where you could see wild animals in Northern Thailand and local handicrafts from Lampang city. After lunch, continue the trip by taking Bamboo Raft adventure along Mae Ping River for 1 hour. On the return to Chiang Mai stops are made at the Orchid Nursery to see a large collection of more than 50 different types of colorful exotic year-round-bloom orchids.
